A well known, very long lasting cut flower that is also nice in groups.
It is used to maintain good soil conditions and as ingredient of homeopathic drugs, teas.
Calendulas are wonderfully easy to grow in the border or containers.
Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water moderately. Neon is generally regarded as a tender plant, so remember to wait until your soil is warm and the night time temperature is well above freezing before moving outside.
It needs a loamy soil with a ph of 6.1 to 7.8 (weakly acidic soil to weakly alkaline soil).
Keep picking or deadhead to ensure flowers until the first frosts. For stronger plants sow in autumn and over winter. Can be grown in container pots.
